Success returns `201` with `request_id` and `status_url` (the customer's personal status page: Received, Confirmed & scheduled, Technician on the way, Job complete, with contact options and a cancel/reschedule button). Give the customer the `status_url`.

Missing or invalid fields return `400` with an `errors` object (field name to message). Unknown businesses return `404`. Requests are rate-limited.

## Information needed

- Required: `name`, `phone` (10-digit US number), `address` (where the work is), `service`, `urgency`, `description`
- Optional: `email` (for a confirmation email), `zip`, `preferred_time` (free text; windows are morning 8–12, afternoon 12–4, evening 4–7)
- `service` values: `leak`, `drain_clog`, `water_heater`, `toilet`, `faucet_fixtures`, `sewer_line`, `emergency`, `estimate`, `other`
- `urgency` values: `emergency`, `today`, `this_week`, `flexible`

## Deposits and payments

- The API never takes payment and never asks for card details.
- Some jobs may need a deposit (for example $75 to hold a time slot). The business sends it to the customer as a separate link, and the customer must review and approve it themselves. An assistant should never pay or approve a deposit on the customer's behalf.
- Only submit a request with the customer's consent.
